Mix+ concept of wearing parts

With the equipment Mix+ the edges of the auger flights can be replaced, and in this way a solid edge on the flights is maintained without expensive replacement of the complete auger.
The result is a better mixing quality and lower operating costs.

Mix+ consists of a set of interchangeable wearing plates, which together with the knives are bolted onto the auger flights. The wearing plates are manufactured from 5 mm stainless steel in the extremely hard-wearing AISI 304 quality.

Maintaining a good edge on the augers ensures total mixing and incorporation of all feed ingredients. Tests performed by Kongskilde shows an improved mixing quality and a higher milk yield resulting in a positive effect on the operating costs.

With Mix+ you can maintain a constant and high mixing quality, which reduces the time and fuel consumption compared to a worn auger mixer. The farmer can replace the wearing parts himself, while he is replacing the knives. This will save the farmer from additional expense.

A further advantage is a much faster mixing activity, as the radius of the auger flights is increased when Mix+ parts are mounted. This makes the Mix+ equipment very suitable for the JF diet mixers for compact feed such as pre mixing of mineral and cereal blends.

Mix+ is available for new production of JF diet mixers and also for new type augers bought as replacement items for older JF diet mixers.
